POM Sheet

A POM sheet (Polyoxymethylene), also widely known by the trade name Acetal or Delrin®, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic. It’s prized for its excellent combination of high stiffness, strength, and hardness, which often makes it a preferred alternative to metals for certain parts. Key features include low friction, outstanding wear resistance, and excellent dimensional stability (resistance to shrinking/swelling). This makes it the ideal material for machining precision components like gears, bearings, bushings, and other moving mechanical parts.
